>Today, I went to GV at Tampines Mall, bought movie tickets, and actually sat through the entire movie despite my prior expectations regarding it before watching. What movie is it you ask?Well, the movie is none other than GOKUSEN THE MOVIE, which aired in July 11 last summer in Japan.

Having watched Season 2 of Gokusen, and having only done it because of the presence of Akame, I was dubious about the movie and the overall result it would bring, considering the fact that Gokusen is a repeatedly re-used cycle that goes on over and over again. Deliquent kids, one fiesty teacher. They get into trouble. She does all she can to help them. They get touched and open up their hearts to her. There's sparkly sunshine and rainbows. She goes on to help more such kids in other classes. AND IT REPEATS. OVER AND OVER AGAIN. :\ Can anyone say, "cliche"?
...But surprisingly, the movie didn't have the same effect on me. Maybe because it was I was blinded by the shini-ness of a stellar cast, namely, Kamenashi Kazuya, Oguri Shun, Teppei, Miura Haruma and the works. Or maybe because I didn't sleep enough. Either way, I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. Not in the sense that the plot improved. (Because believe me, it HASN'T. LOLZ.) But because of the fact that it took the right direction and input much more comedic elements into it. The entire movie was full of hilarity. Starting from the beginning where Yankumi reprimands and reduces plane hjiackers to a sobbing wreck (LOL) to the end where she plays games with her students and gets her head whacked in the process.
And Sawatari, what can I say. THAT MAN IS A GENIUS. XDDD. I absolutely loved his facial expressions and the robotic sounds they added in between. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire time he was onscreen. BRILLANCY AT IT'S FINEST. XD.
Oh and of course, the main reason why I sat through the 121 minutes of movie film.
ODAGIRI RYU. *_*

MOTORBIKES AND BLACK LEATHER GLOVES NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD. ♥ And a;sdjsls- RYU.
In overall, I really enjoyed watching Gokusen the movie inspite of the lack of plot. But it is a movie that should be taken with a grain of salt and kept in mind that plot < IKEMEN. And comedic relief.
Lastly, I should end off my spam with the *sparkly* Odagiri sensei. <3
